Home remedies for dry skin

If you are tired of moisturizing your dry flaky skin and are looking for easy and effective ways to get a glowing healthy complexion, here are a few suggestions-

  • • Instead of using an alcohol based astringent, use cucumber juice on your face. This will give your skin a fresh look, without drying it out.
  • • Apply a mixture of rose water and glycerin on your face, instead of an oily cream.
  • • Massage your face with mayonnaise and wash it off after 15-20 minutes. This will make your skin look smooth and supple.
  • • Applying a face pack made with mashed bananas and papaya can also help in improving your skin’s texture.
  • • Avoid using harsh chemicals and perfumed soaps on your skin, instead try and use natural products. For instance you can use milk and curd for cleansing your skin.

Finally, make sure you keep your skin hydrated by drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.
