Warm apple juice

Warming up a cup of apple juice will calm a cough.

i have been coughing for 8

i have been coughing for 8 hours non-stop it seems. while the warm apple juice didn't totally take the cough away... it did soften it some. but only while i was drinking it. I think ANY warm liquid would have the same effect. Thanks for the suggestion though.
