Bee stings

When stung by a bee, or wasp take baking soda between your fingers, add a little water (put fingers under faucet for a second) and then apply the wet baking soda to the affected area. If the area is itching, add a little more dry baking soda to the area and the friction will relieve the itching aspect of the bite. Baking soda can be added as often as needed if the area starts itching again, reapply - it may take 3-4 applications before the itching or pain is finally relieved. It is best to apply the baking soda immediately. The quicker the baking soda is applied, the quicker the recovery. Putting a paste of baking soda on top of the bite will allow the baking soda to draw out the venom quicker.
