Acne home remedy if you are broke

Alkalize the skin on the face if you are prone to pimples and acne. You can use lemon juice, lime juice, grapefruit juice, vinegar or baking soda. Any of these items will help change the ph balance of the skin. These are things that most people have on hand, so it won't cost extra money and you will FEEL the difference. Pick one of these items - which ever you have on hand, or experiment with a different one each time and see which one you like best. The baking soda can also be used once a week for example to also help exfoliate the skin. Using it too often will dry the skin and also be too abrasive, but once a week or so would probably be okay.

I have had very painful (and ugly) acne. Just one bump after another no matter what product I use. Recently, ive been using apple cider vinegar, it has made a great difference. Also, I had very severe acne so I used full strength vinegar, I put it on a cotton pad any wipe the affected areas. Make sure that you don't treat your face with full strength vinegar and wash your face within 3 hours of each other. It burns.
