Olive oil was good enough for the ancient Greeks; it's also good for today's damaged hair.

Olive oil remedy for damaged-hair

Method

  • Apply a generous amount of olive oil on your hair
  • Cover it with a shower cap for 30 minutes
  • Shampoo

Why olive-oil works

Olive oil has antioxidants and vitamin E that protect the hair from humidity and sunlight. Because it is an oil, it will seal the hair cuticle and keep it healthy.

Precautions

If any rash or skin irritation results, discontinue use immediately. Avoid using rancid oil.
