Sweety, I appreciate your

Sweety, I appreciate your question. Without knowing the exact placement of your warts, it is very difficult to offer you assistance without being in person. I can tell you that unfortunately ridding yourself of the warts is a very difficult if not impossible task. Fortunately, your OB/GYN is very capable of handling this problem. Your delivery will more than likely be via caesarian section. If the baby is not born via caesarian there are other precautions that can be taken.

The greatest thing you can offer your child at this point is complete honesty with every Healthcare Provider. By doing this you give them the opportunity to take the proper precautions for your baby’s overall well being. Please have a precaution statement on file in your medical records at the hospital or facility and with the practitioner you intend on delivering with.

I would also like to suggest that you carry something on your person identifying your HPV status while you are pregnant. Just for the slight chance you might deliver out of your area on an emergency basis. Te idea here is to protect your child.

I do appreciate your question and your concern for your child. I hope this has been of some help and possibly some comfort. Please have a look around the site. Add some remedies of your own if you like.

Good Luck to you.

Cathy

Dont get worried too much

Dont get worried too much yet! If you have HPV genital WARTS then you can deliver your baby vaginally (normally). All that is required is that you go to the hospital earlier when in labour so they can hook you up to amoxillian for a couple hours before birth to prevent the spread. Now if it is HPV HERPES, then unfortunantly you will cannot do vaginal because you have more chances of passing it to your baby at birth whick could be fatal for the baby. When you go to get your Pre-natle care from what ever doctor u chose to have, they will simply examen you and confirm if it is herpes or warts. Dont be scared...for the sake of the baby, you must get checked.. Dont be ashamed either. I had warts. but thankfully they also got rid of them a few months after having my child, they simply freeze them off and there is no more problems.!!! Good luck to you. You will be fine!!!
