Oh Shelly, it sounds like you

Oh Shelly, it sounds like you may have bruised your chin. Unfortunately, you will have to wait this one out. As far as the pimple under the skin, I know they can be extremely annoying and painful at times. However, please do not pick them, or try to cause them to pop.

Naturally we want to squeeze these annoying little buggers and make them go away. The problem is that when we squeeze them we don’t see what happens under the skin. Just as a pimple will pop and out comes all of the puss and yucky stuff; it will have as much going every which way under the skin. Final Result: even more pimples.

The best thing to get a pimple to naturally pop or soften enough to release the fluids might actually feel pretty good. First, cleanse your skin with a tea tree oil cleanser or as natural and soap free as you can find. Next we will use a warm compress; as hot as you can stand it without burning yourself. Make one from a washcloth wet completely with salt water. Place in microwave for as long as it takes to get hot. Let the compress get to a comfortable level of heat. Place on area until compress completely cools. Re-wet, heat and repeat. Always finish your cleansing with a cold splash to close the pores. Finish with an astringent of Witch Hazel or tea tree oil.

Although it may take a bit longer to eradicate the pimples, the result will be worth it. You will be on your way to optimal skin health. Remember that your fluid intake has a great bearing on skin health. Please drink enough sugar free, corn syrup and carbonation free fluids daily to have clear urine. Not only is this healthy for the skin but the body as a whole.

Good Luck to you in good health.

Cathy
