I feel as though I may need more information to make a targeted recommendation for you but here are my thoughts based on what you have said.

How long ago were you burned? What degree was the burn? Were you told that you may have experienced any nerve damage? What is the quality of the pain - does it ache, burn, feel like electric shocks, is it constant or throbbing or occasional? Does it hurt to touch or when you move? How did the painkillers you were given help the pain and which ones were you specifically taking? Did you have any skin grafts? Are there contractures in the skin of affected area?

The remedies of emu oil and aloe vera generally help the skin to heal properly and to reduce the appearance of scars but I would not expect them to alleviate pain.

The pain you experience will depend on the tissue that was damaged and different treatments are appropriate for different types of pain. Unfortunately, pain is one of the most difficult chronic conditions to treat and some level of pain may be present for many months or years after the original injury.

If I were you, I would seek the advice of a pain specialist to obtain targeted treatment. I would also find emotional support around how to live a full and joyful life while coping with chronic pain. Even if you experience it only as "discomfort" feeling it every day can weigh down on you and lead to depression.
