I am in need of topical

I am in need of topical remedies that will promote healing and keep infection away on a diabetic foot ulcer that has been trying to heal for almost a year. Drs are baffled as to why it wont completely heal

There are many schools of

There are many schools of thought on this, I am probably going to get blasted for this one but I’ll be honest. Hydrogen Peroxide the type you buy over the counter for 50 cents a bottle is said to be great.

1. Wash the area with soapy water
2. Rinse well
3. Pour the peroxide directly on the ulcer
4. Allowing it to foam up; this means it is killing bacteria
5. Repeat pouring it on until the foaming subsides somewhat
6. Then rinse well. If you have normal saline at hand use this for the final rinse.

If the ulcer has any depth to it, you may want tot try dampening a piece of gauze in a wad then place in the area. Cover with dry gauze tape down.
If there is really no depth to the area, leave it open to air.

Repeat this process twice daily for about 2 weeks. If you notice no improvement or a reversal in condition, then please contact your Healthcare Provider for further assistance.

Please remember to keep your feet clean and dry. Elevate them and change position at least every two hours. Be sure that shoes are not rubbing areas on the feet.

Good Luck & Good Health to You.
