Well Mom this may come as a surprise but Duct Tape has been shown to be very effective for removing warts. It has been suggested that this is an extremely effective treatment for children.

The wart is covered with duct tape for six days. After six days, it is suggested that the wart is to be soaked in water then rubbed gently with an emery board or pumice stone. The process is then repeated until the wart goes away. It is thought that the duct tape stimulates the body's immune system to attack the virus that caused the wart in the first place.

Apple Cider Vinegar has also been said to be effective for this purpose. It can even be used in conjunction with duct tape therapy. To treat your plantar wart with apple cider vinegar, simply soak a gauze pad in the vinegar and tape the pad over the plantar wart. Make sure you use a fresh pad daily. The wart will eventually turn hard and black. Use a pumice stone or emery board to help assist with the process.

I do hope you find this helpful for your little one. If the warts continue to return or multiply, you may need to seek help by your healthcare practitioner.

Please add a few of your own remedies; we love to learn from one another around here.

Good Luck to You Both!
