My daughter came home from school with lice. Is there any way to get rid of it without using that harsh pesticide shampoo?

It is true, the lice shampoo

It is true, the lice shampoo is a toxin and it can be absorbed through your scalp. You can take care of those critters by saturating the head with mayonaise or olive oil and putting it in plastic for a good 5 hours. This smothers and kills the lice. Then, comb it out with a lice brush, diping the brush in vinegar after each comb.
