Acne is a problem that most

Acne is a problem that most people experience at some point in their life. Although most people experience acne during puberty, it is also possible to have adult onset acne.

Acne is caused by a bacteria called Propionibacterium acnes that lives on the skin and causes minor infections in the pores. The pores then become blocked with dead skin, sebum, and other particles and lead to a whitehead or blackhead, depending on if the pus has oxidized.

Exfoliation is probably the most important step in keeping a clear face. This can be done either mechanically or chemically - by gentle scrubbing or by applying ingredients that break down dead skin.

Lemon juice in rose water would be one way to chemically exfoliate the skin. You wouldn't want to use pure lemon juice as this could irritate the skin due to it's acidic pH.

Excessively cleaning the skin could lead to drying it out and then excess sebum production in response. This could exacerbate the acne problem so stick to washing the face once daily with a mild cleanser and using the lemon juice with rose water no more than 3 or 4 times per week.
