My Father has pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. He has a dry cough and it is getting worse. I have been giving him for several years fresh ginger tea with honey and lemon. Is there something else that will work better. Please help! Thank you

My first thought is that pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension are very serious conditions that require medical treatment and monitoring. Self-treatment at home is not appropriate or advised for such serious diseases.

That being said, I don't see much harm in giving your father ginger tea with lemon and honey. I don't think it will hurt him, but it probably won't do anything other than comfort him in terms of a therapy.

One other thought is that some medications that are used to treat regular hypertension, and may also be used in an attempt to lower pulmonary hypertension, can cause a dry, non-productive cough. This class of medications is called "ACE Inhibitors." If your father is on this type of medication, he can talk to the prescriber about switching to a different one in the same class. Sometimes this relieves the cough. It would be inadvisable for him to discontinue the medication, if he is on it.
