There are a few things a person can take to support healthy eyesight. Of course, this does not replace regular eye checkups by qualified eye care professionals. Also, if you experience severe pain, fever, or sensitivity to light along with vision changes, this would be an indication to immediately seek medical attention.

Assuming you are just looking to maintain the eye health you already have, I would suggest the following:

You will want to eat a balanced and healthy diet to ensure that you are getting all the proper nutrients and minerals.

Avoid excessive sun exposure by wearing sunglasses and hats as appropriate.

Take a multivitamin. Some multivitamins are specifically marketed for eyesight. They usually contain lutein and/or bilberry as well as vitamin K. All three ingredients have been associated with eye health.
