If I eat more than nine carrots each day, will my eyesight improve? Will the improvements be drastic enough to justify large quantities of one of my least favorite foods? Will my skin turn orange?

Carrots are rich in Beta

Carrots are rich in Beta Carotene (just as other orange and yellow veggies). Beta Carotene gets transfered in your liver to vitamin A. Vitamin A strengthens the rods in your eyes. These rods are responsible for night vision (not color). Therefor if you increase the amount of carrots in your diet you may increase your night vision. Near and Far sightedness has to do with the shape of your eye- something carrots do not really help.
Beta Carotene is fat soluble and therefore if you consume too much it will end up being stored in your organs or skin.
