i have these brown spots that almost look like scars under my armpit, and my upper thigh where i shave. the markings are small oval shaped. they dont hurt at all, its a bit hard to the touch. what are they and how do i get rid of them?

It is quite difficult to know exactly what is going on for you with the limited information you have provided. Your symptoms could be caused from something as benign as ingrown hair follicles or benign dark skin pigmentation to acanthois nigricans which may be related to other medical conditions such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, and malignancy.

I would first suggest that you get these spots examined by a physician or dermatologist. If they say that the spots are not harmful, you can try various methods to lighten them.
