Home Remedies For Varicosities

Varicosities Definition

Varicosities, also called varicose veins, are swollen and tortuous veins. Varicose veins usually appear in the legs, but can also appear in other parts of the body.

The lumpy, twisted veins are just below the surface of the skin and can cause swelling, itching and pain.

Varicose veins are more common in women than in men. Causes for this phenomena can be injury, pregnancy, obesity, aging, menopause, and standing for a long time.
