sore throat, also known as pharyngitis or tonsillitis, is a disease primarily located in the area around the tonsils. Infections cause the majority of sore throats and are contagious. Infections are caused either by viruses such as: Flu (the common cold), mononucleosis, or bacteria (such as: strep, mycoplasma, or hemophilus).
Sore throats are so common they are one of the main reasons people see a doctor. But it is not always necessary because most sore throats are caused by a virus and go away on their own in about a week. Only a small percentage of sore this bacterial infections that may require medical care.

How to Cure Swelling and A Sore Throat with Natural Treatments
1. Melt 2-3 teaspoons of salt to one glass of water, gurgle the salty water in your throat and on the infected area.
2. Cut an onion into strips, squeeze the spicy juice out, add one spoon of honey and drink right away.
3. Mix:
1 cup of salvia.
2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar.
1-2 tea spoons of sea water.
