Ask a Question
What Is Nausea?
Nausea is the feeling that one has to expel the contents of one's stomach, i.e., vomit. Whether it comes on suddenly or develops over time, nausea is always unpleasant. There are myriad causes of nausea, some serious, some not. Sometimes it can be relieved by vomiting and sometimes it precludes a cycle of vomiting. If you are nauseous for prolonged periods and can't keep anything in your stomach you should always consult a doctor. However, home remedies may be appropriate for minor cases of nausea and you can find some of them here at GrannyMed.
