Gastritis is an inflammation of the mucous membrane lining of the stomach. It causes vomiting and loss of appetite.
Gastritis can have number of causes: alcohol, drugs, bacteria,
cigarettes, and viruses. The inflammation of the stomach is often caused by an infection and is not an ulcer.
