Ask a Question
What Causes Dizziness?
Dizziness, the sensation of feeling faint or as though the world is spinning (also known as vertigo) or as though you have lost your balance, can be very disquieting and is one of the more common reasons that people make a doctor's appointent. It can be caused by everything from inner ear problems, Meniere's disease, migraines, motion sickness, low blood pressure, circulation problems, hyperventilation, and anxiety. While most people will experience fleeting moments of dizziness from time to time, dizziness can be an indication of more serious problems. Home remedies can provide an energy boost or relieve anxiety but if you experience repeated and/or prolonged dizziness, please see your doctor as soon as possible.
