What is damaged hair?
Human hair is very sensitive and easily damaged, especially by many of the modern styling treatments that are now commonplace - dying, perms, heat treatments, straightening, and even daily shampooing. Sun and humidity are damaging as well. All of these things lead to rough, brittle and frizzy hair. can damage the hair's cuticles and result in dry, drab, split, brittle or frizzy hair and ends. Hair is a naturally strong fiber but it is also a complex fiber made of protein with several layers. Hair damage begins when the outer layers become damaged. Successful remedies for hair damage either repair the damaged outer layer (the cuticle) or seal and strengthen it to prevent hair damage from occurring in the first place.
