Stomach Aches Definition:


Stomach aches, also known as abdominal pain, are cramps of the stomach caused by illness or other reason.
A lot of kids suffer from stomach aches; sometimes it is not possible to diagnose the reason.

There are different kinds of stomach aches:

The first kind of stomach ache is bleary pain in the area of the navel.

The second kind of stomach ache is aches in the upper abdomen, hurts whiles eating.

The third kind of abdominal pain is pain caused by air swallowing, while the kid or patient is eating, a lot of air gets into the stomach, which causes pressure.

The next kind of abdomen pain is IBS stomach aches which includes problems with normal movement, causes diarrhea or constipation.

Stomach aches, in most cases, do not implicate there is a bigger problem but in some cases it is important to check the patient further to make sure the stomach aches do not occur because of something else that needs to be treated.
If the patient suffers also from: fever, blooded stool, joint pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, mouth ulcer, rash or anything suspicious; it is then important to examine further at the doctor's.

Repeated stomach aches may affect the kid's activities and behavior. It is very important to get the kid to school even if he has repeated stomach aches, since the pain lasts no more then 1 hour and it will do him good to keep his mind of the pain.
Usually the pain will go away when the kid will grow older, but in some cases the patient may suffer from the stomach pain for life time.
It is very important to go to the doctor's office to determine the source of the abdomen pain. If the abdomen pain is a repeated pain and not stomach pain the result from something else, it is very important to keep a normal day activities. Also the patient should notice what he eats and drink a lot of water. The patient should learn how to live with the problem and what is the best for him.
