ChickenPox

Chickenpox Definition:


Chickenpox is a very common, well known kid's disease. The chicken pox disease can appear at any age but the infection percentages are very high in kids.
The Chickenpox disease is usually not complicated and the patient will suffer from moderate fever and itchy red spots on the skin all over the body. The pox will usually heal with no scaring.

It is very important to be under a doctor's supervision because for a very low percentage of patients, the Chickenpox disease might be fatal.
The Chicken pox disease is transferred by air and is very contagious at the first 2 weeks.
After a person got the Chicken pox disease he will have a lifelong protective immunity.

There might be some complications when having chicken pox:
Infections may appear because of the scratching and also scaring. Both can be treated with natural treatment and ointments.

Chicken Pox - What to notice:


It is very important to be alert when having the Chicken Pox.

If the fever does not drop down after 3 days, it is important to take the patient to the doctor's office.

Also if the fever went down and after 24 hours went up again, you should turn the patient to the doctor.

When you notice pox in the eyes you should turn to the doctor for observation.

When there are troubles breathing turn to the doctors.

If there are infections on the pox, you better check the pox at the doctor's office and make sure to keep under supervision.

If there is another skin rash, other than the pox.

If the patient if too fatigue or has troubles to walk and talk and also vomit, you should immediately take him to the doctor's.


Chickenpox Vaccines are available, the Vaccines has a weakened virus which will make the body to produce an antibody to the disease.
The patient might feel a little sick but the disease won't be as close to the chicken pox.
The Vaccines will prevent the Chickenpox disease in 40-90% and even if the patient will get the Chickenpox it won't be as bad, which is very important for the kids.
