Pain in the lower back is very common. In fact it is probably as common as the
common cold.
About eight out of ten people have had a back problem, or will have a back problem in their life. The backache is one of the common pain. Studies of the lower back pain have demonstrated clearly that the only way to recover the function of a spine is to increase the force of the muscles that support the spine and this can only be made by exercise regularly. Medicines reduces the pain only temporary and for short periods but exercise can help for long term. It is best to consult the doctor to get the best exercise for the individual problem.
Treatment for lower back pain:
In most cases, people recover from acute lower back pain in three weeks to three months.
In order to treat the backaches the patient need to: rest, take medications from the doctor, have a physical therapy, sometimes lose weight, and more. In worse chronic situations the patient might need to have a back surgery to treat the backache problem.
It is very important to remember that the doctor can only help to relief pain, but the patient is the one that has to keep the
therapy to get better, by exercising and maintaining better positions.
