Healing a Broken Limb With Home Remedies

Although there are no home remedies for preventing a broken bone, there are some good pieces of advice for aiding a broken limb to full recovery. Remember, broken limbs do need actual medical attention so any advice is just an aid to the already treated break or fracture.

Home remedies that can help heal a broken or fractured limb include:

  • Stop Caffeine Consumption
  • Put a hault to consuming alcohol
  • Stop smoking

The best aid in healing a broken or fractured limb is RICE and by that I don't mean the food. RICE stands for rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Research shows that these four things are essential to healing a broken limb.
