Treating Your Fever Naturally

We've all had a fever at least once. Many of us take fever reducing medication and just stay in bed until it passes. Despite the success of this method, many of us wishing for a more natural solution need something else.

The best home remedy for a fever is sleep, but that is not all. Make sure to eat lightly and stay away from cold foods. Herbal teas and nutrient rich juices are an excellent way to hydrate the body since it loses a lot of water because of the fever.

Children who have a fever can be treated by placing warm strips on their forehead and of course any of the above. Remember if the fever gets worse you may have no choice but to act conventionally and even contact a health professional.
