Home Remedies for Dry Skin

In the thick of winter, the worst of our dry skin creeps up on us. Our dry skin itches us and hurts in such a bitter way. There are plenty of lotions, but there are also many home remedies as well.


Home Remedies for dry and itchy skin include:

  • *A face pack made of fruits rich in vitamins. Make sure to put on a a mild lotion or moisturizer to keep the moisture produced by the face pack.
  • *Use alpha hydroxy acids based night creams.
  • *A diet consisting of a lot of Vitamin A, Vitamin B, and Vitamin E can be taken for an inner glow in the skin.
  • *Leafy vegetables help the most in replenishing the moisture in the skin.
  • *Increased water intake.
  • *Fruit juices are also helpful in softening the skin.
  • *Rose water, almond oil, honey, olive oil, and beaten curd can all be used as good face packs.
