Diabetes Home Remedies

Diabetes may seem incurable and so many opt for just managing it. Of course this is reinforced by the broader medical community. Despite the fact that most diabetes is caused by dietary issues, those suffering from it tend to settle management over cure.

Despite the medical communities insistence that diabetes cannot be cured there are many home remedies for diabetes. Here are a few:

  • *Mango leaves are very effective in managing diabetes. Take some mango leaves and soak them in water. Store it overnight and then on an empty stomach take this mixture.

  • *Take sweet potato leaves with ash gourd with any herbal tea. Mix 4-5 leaves of sweet potato and 1 tablespoon ash gourd in a glass of water and then allow it to boil. Strain the mixture and take this in herbal tea anytime of the day. It is effective in curing diabetes.

  • *Curry leaves also controls diabetes. Chew 8-10 curry leaves in an empty stomach. This will be very effective in returning the sugar level in the urine and blood to normal. It is also helpful against hereditary diabetes.

  • *Make a fine powder of dry amalaki. Put this powder in water and let it stand for some time. Then filter the mixture and squeeze lemon juice in it. Take this early in the morning.

  • *You can also prepare a fine powder of amalaki, turmeric and fenugreek to ingest in equal amounts. Take this powder with honey three times a day. This will help to lower diabetes within two months.

  • *Drink mango and Indian plum (Jamun) juice in equal amount.
