Curing Your Child's ADHD Through Diet

ADHD is a growing problem among children. Most doctors prescribe psychoactive drugs in hopes that it will control the child's behavior. In recent years many researchers have found that these drugs not only do not help in the long run, but they may even exacerbate the symptoms surrounding ADHD.

So what can one do? Thankfully there has been positive feedback from those advocating a change of diet when tackling ADHD and other attention deficit disorders. These changes include:

Incorporating Omega-3 oils (specifically fish oil)which are probably the most important nutrients for a child with depression or attention deficit disorder to take.

They should only drink water as their beverage, taking care to avoid fruit juices, soda and milk.

Restrict sugars and grains, which cause insulin levels to be elevated and thus cause a change of mood and emotions.

With focus and determination in adherence wit these dietary changes one can not only control their child's ADHD, but cure it completely.
